Albert Pitres

Albert Pitres, who was born on 26 August 1848 in Bordeaux and died in 1928, was a French neurological physician. He received his training in Paris where he was the student of Jean Martin Charcot and Jules Dejerine. He was the dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Bordeaux.

His name became associated with Pleural effusion and with Tabes dorsalis.
